Driving to tennis one Saturday morning I saw a large bird on a telephone pole. I pulled over and chatted with some walkers on the roadside.No one was sure what type of bird it was, but it was obvious that it was a very large raptor. Later in the day when I had the chance to look at the detail in the photos I was able to confirm that is was an Osprey.
Welcome to Kukui Photography! On this site I am sharing the opportunity to buy prints, cards, and other products made of a few of my favorite photos. I have been involved in photography for over 30 years. I started with a Nikon 35mm film camera and developed and printed my own photos in black and white and color. I was an early adopter of digital photography and have been amazed at how rapidly that has improved and evolved. We moved to Hawaii and that provided a lot of potential new subject matter, then we moved to Arizona and the scenery changed, but the beauty of nature still came through.
