This image was created from 190 photographs blended together to show the movement of the earth by the light trails of the stars. In the lower right corner it also shows the landing lights of USMC F/A-18 Hornets on approach to MCAS Kaneohe. It has been restyled to look like a painting in the Van Gogh style.

Welcome to Kukui Photography! On this site I am sharing the opportunity to buy prints, cards, and other products made of a few of my favorite photos. I have been involved in photography for over 30 years. I started with a Nikon 35mm film camera and developed and printed my own photos in black and white and color. I was an early adopter of digital photography and have been amazed at how rapidly that has improved and evolved. We moved to Hawaii and that provided a lot of potential new subject matter, then we moved to Arizona and the scenery changed, but the beauty of nature still came through.
